Mother's Day Thanks
In the beautiful month of March,
There's a special day set aside.
A day when mums the world over,
Are gazed on with joy and pride.
All year long mum's a wonderful gem,
A teacher who knows everything.
But isn't it nice on this special day,
To let her hear the praises we sing.
She provides our daily wants,
She guides us whenever we stray.
She protects us from harm on life's path,
So lets thank mum on her special day.
She teaches us to play the game,
To always help others in need.
Think of them and not ourselves,
Her wonderful, workable creed.
Things go wrong as they sometimes will,
Her comforting arms then enfold us.
She'll pat on the back for a job well done,
Her love filled with warm kindness.
So let's give a hand to all the mums,
God gifts to us simply only one.
Cherish her dearly thank her with love,
For the wonderful job she has done.

I'll try later to read as many as I can, but I hate to rush things and always read a poem twice so as not to miss anything or the respect that member deserves for writing no matter how short or long what they have written and painstakingly presented.
And thankfully tomorrow off work to make inroads for everyone.
