MOTHERS SOVEREIGNTY

MOTHERS SOVEREIGNTY

Two armada ships are pointed at each other

and the wailing jet engines lift off their carriers.

A rivalry War

between a mother and her son is about to rage

when the Commanders of the ships

hold onto to a metal stasis

moments from the full atomic attack.

There shall be no living prisoners

and on the minds of the vessels mates

they ask why are the same forces

condemning the other to this ending duel?

Syncopated to the end of life

we all come into this world waging our battles

looking for justification, respect and honor

and the love of those we need.

Son Ricardo, looks out the control tower window

and through his binoculars

sees an old gray haired woman still victorious

for her demeanor has never been frayed

going unchallenged and never defeated by life

I became so much like her.

Here we are, nose to nose and bombs to explode

she herself is near death already

and I am not so far behind her at my age.

How did we became so enraged

and is there a lesson is this final face off?

Perhaps if we had shown each other respect

and the understanding

of our life experience unmeasured and unproxyed

we could of stopped this tragic day.

The jets begin to circle her jets

and every pilot

in the sky is looking for the command.

Just about to say the word

when I caught a tear in my mother’s eyes.

I know that she caught mine as well, because

this would be the end of life.

Extreme measures in extreme dreams

created this drama unfolding in my awoken state

sweating profusely and feeling the anx

i pickup the phone and dial her phone number

knowing that one day she won’t answer.

Do we stage our future prayers

as we dissolve the pain and illusions of love

knowing there are some things

that never will be fixed or repaired?

I do not want War with the One that bore me

and gave me my humanity as Mary to Jesus

for we all

make our meager sacrifices behind the Cross.

I pray that with this poem

she will

finally understand my loyalty is to my mother

even though we have failed each other.

Today, I surrender and become the captive

for indeed

the mother reins supreme over your sovereignty.

No matter to what avail

even in insanity's cries we cannot disjoin ..

Ricardo Antonio...

We rouse through our minds for self healing and gain the awareness to reach the paramount of our senses. We all have different levels of consciousnesses. The abyss can be focused for our Wisdom supports us through these trials. I'm glad that my focusing mechanism has brought this clarity to other minds who support what I have written and will continue to write. We are all fractured in some way, so stay digging within yourself and expression will help you find your own way. Gods 'Key' to enlightenment we all possess.
