Mother's Advice

Mother's Advice

Working hard, together,

All the bees made a hive

Full of honey, on branch

Atop a high tree!

Surviving  the test of nature,

Rain, winter and summer,

Until the bee hunter noticed it.

Climbing up the big tree,

Smoking all the bees out,

Squeezed all the honey,

And down he reached

With the treasure of bees!

Agitated by his barbaric act,

All the bees stung him at once,

Neglecting the advice given

Right from their birth,

Except an obedient one,

Who listened to his mother’s word!

All of them stung the hunter,

Like a boat caught in whirlpool,

Killing him at once down the tree,

Sacrificing their own lives, stinging,

In a sudden outburst of vengeance!

Mother’s word can’t be wrong,

The little bee believed,

Saving his own life in return!
