Motion Beckons

All my life, my soul: and all my love, her heart. I’m inflated,
Love: two steps the cliff; and such flame, this passion; but
So much to fly. Blame the music, my sudden change; and
Blame the liquor, mother’s shame. For precious eyes, to
Touch the curse: a desert pearl, a thousand hurts. And I
Admire pain: a woman’s flame; and bleeding Father,
A soldier’s death; and light to love, a fancy joy. [Selah] I’m
So naĂŻve, a private prayer; and sore the wit, a scheming
Light. Inform the dead: the earth to bleed, a mile to hell,
And dearly green. All the tears, a breathing crypt; and all
The bliss, a moment torn. And fear to fail, the skill of war, a
Father’s blood, a mother’s core. For all of life, a daughter’s
Pen, afflicted high, the sky to sin. My dearest love,
Remember prose, an iron love, a bleeding rose. Â
