Poem -

Mountain Stream

The river I see meandersĀ
across the meadows green,
from snow capped mountainsĀ does it flow
to a sea of delta streams
the cold clear water tumblesĀ
over the pebbled floor
racing down the mountain slope is lost forever more
i take a breath absorb it all
this view I see alone
forfilling dreams of peacefulness and the beauty that it has shown
over ledges does it fall and yonder it will flow
to pools of green and rocky clefts
a place where mosses grow
The distant colour of ocean is as far as I can see
and the long blue line of the river meets
where soon it shall be freeĀ
