MOVEMENT

MOVEMENT

MOVEMENT

Ricardo Antonio Garcia

A voyager chances the high seas

knowing

that he might not make the challenge.

The dream is paramount

and as

the movement commences to take root

the mountainess waves of the sea

become the act

of the dreamer’s sequence.

Sails in bloom

the curtain of the stage is open

and the sea froth falling from the face

imbues the challenging Spirit

aloft into an abyss

where each man finds his center key.

The sail vessel

arcs with each monstrous wave

holding on to life and limb

the heroic serenade

of existences plays its chord

in the in depth sounds of the deep.

Capsizing the boat

and being eaten by sharks

doesn’t even enter the mind of the heroic.

We follow

the trail of these movements

as conscious efforts

deliver the goods of our ambiguous strength

once unknown and now just.

Into the pool

of this majesty we are all uniting

the cause and affect of these passages

bringing to the shores

via sea our temperaments

that we become

united by these movements.

Shakespearean moons aglow

will find

their destiny upon us all in aprons

satisfied by

the Hens that they serve

and in all

its stuffing delights we shall drink wine

at the parting of these tides.

To be confident

and upright we shall bore

these holes

into a new civilization no longer askew

by the confrontation of chains.

To understand

these waves of a new movement

we must watch the clock

for the precision

of our species determines the frock

which we all will don.
