Mr Confident

Once had 'A good place to be'

But after 3 years it took the soul out of me.

It's time to leave, time to move on.

I'll be ok, what could go wrong? 

New dreams, new places.

I have to pick 1 of 3 faces

I get ready, my hairs done.

feeling really lucky when putting my suit on because Mr Confidents in the room,

I'll can even tell my C.V like it's a song.

But I get raised eyebrows, their arms crossed and more.

"I'm sorry Sir, you're not what we're looking for" 

I walk out and I'm like a ball of fire,

How can it be? I thought I'd be everything you'd desire?!

I've been kicked back, "not going to be hired anytime soon", And now Mr Confident is at the back of the room.

I pick myself up, I don't deserve too be down.

Just try and try again, even if you look like a clown..

Because someone will spot my talent, my skills, my story and sound.

Then Mr Confident can proudly sit up straight, and he can fix his worthy crown.
