Mr. Man in the moon🌕

Sleepily a’yawning as you silently sigh

Do you need a cozy cover to clandestine your comfy bed? 

Coz I can ask a cumulus cloud to cradle your big head

There’s a cool chilly air I can feel it down here

So I bet you are shivering up above I fear

But because it is clear the sparkling stars are out in force

Blinking and a’twinkling but you can see that of course

So you yellow fellow I really hope you are alright

Belting out your brilliance of luminosity late tonight

I feel a sense of sadness as I stare at your plight

You have such a long spell to shine your blazing light

Tilted on one side and gently moving along

Singing your dreamily slumber, lullaby song

Do you know how much I rely on your lantern up above ? 

I know your beaming and a gleaming is just a labour of love

And do you have a battery betwixt your cloak?

if that answer is no then you are a very clever bloke

Please Mr. man in the Moon don’t you ever go away

Within your timelessness torch of such a strong display

Coz matter where I go I always look up in the sky

And there you are with that half-cocked twinkle in your eye
