Mr. Salt and Mr. Pepper pots

Mr. Salt and Mr. Pepper pots

Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper were stood on the kitchen table
These two tricksters will get mixed up if they are only able
They are made of metal but in the middle of the night
You wouldn’t believe it and you would get a awful fright
The two little pots roll onto the floor
Then its bumpety thump out of the back door

The only one that sees them is the Grandmas cat
She is so scared that she hides under the mat
“Salt and pepper pots are real Oh fancy that”
“I’m leaving this house I need to scat
Thinks the hairy ginger Grandma’s cat??

So the frightened furball of fluff gets to the wooden cat flap when all of a sudden she feels an almighty ‘TAP’ ‘TAP’
Pepper pot has hit her with his mechanical, metal cap
Tango the pet feline furball gives out a loud “Yap”

“Meow” she turns to the pepper and the salt
“I am leaving this house and it is all your fault”
As Tango jumps through the cat flap in a victorious vault
Then scurries to the shelter home in a double summersault !!!
