Muddled Memories

Betwixt my baffled, befuddled brain I pinch myself but yet again..
Muddled are my memories from yon yearnings of yesterdays mellow yellow reveries..
Those magical moments when I was small, before I talked and learned to crawl
Perhaps I lost them with a fall?
Yet gone but not forgotten from a vision in my mind
If I close my eyes and think inner thoughts maybes I just might find?
Snippets told from tell tale stories that my siblings spoke in Jackanories..
Twisted, tongue-tied glorifications
cropped up within casual conversations..
Oh how I wish I could remember those photographs from that December..
Alas a minstrel mist has hazed my head and mazed those memoirs where I tread..
Woe is me so broken hearted
I shall leave no legacies from whence I started…
