" A MUSKETEER'S LOVE "

" A MUSKETEER'S LOVE "

Both sea and land does softly demand
A most gentle reverence for Mother Nature
But, aside from this general grace, a plan
By our endless imitations on paper
Nature befriends the soul, by it's lack
Of corporeal benefit
We are merely observers
Of the ballet
So subtly perfumed
In it's daily delivery
That global expression of it's presence
Is left to the lunatics
Of religion and politics
While painters and poets
Are left with God
And beauty
In their hearts
And the crumbs
From Cardinal Richelieu's table
In their bellies
Ever dining
On Faith
And God's good wine
In a merry toast.....

The poem is bright, witty, beautiful and presents the creators as an antidote to religious fanaticism and political corruption, but in the great novel by Alexandre Dumas the sinister figure of Cardinal Richelieu represents all the mediocrity and all the wickedness which can hold a human heart.

Art and culture have been sponsored by real monsters that have given more importance to the beauty that basic needs and feelings that emanate from the heart of all the men and women, they are or are not artists for many centuries.

With the crumbs that fall from the tables of the powerful always have eaten those poor spirits filled with mediocrity, D´Artagnan, Aramis, Athos and Phortos represent the union and the force for good against evil forces represented by Cardinal Richelieu and Milady de Winter. The Three Musketeers and the Count of Mount of Christ are two novels of Alexandre Dumas, who speak of the power of love and the danger of evil lodged in the heart of the powerful.

A man who chooses to his son the name of D´artagnan is undoubtedly an exemplary father. Alexandre Dumas father was one of the writers who made me laugh, think about social injustices and also cry because of the tragedies of love in my childhood, the works of Alexandre Dumas, son, "The  Lady of the Camellias" was for a long time the novel I read before going to sleep and the first literary adaptation that I dared to write.

So you continue hallucinating with my comments here I leave you a piece.

----------------

----------------

Margarita after a few seconds of hesitation invited the visitor to enter the humble cottage of the forest, once inside and with very deep voice the mysterious visitor begged him:

-If you really love you my son... quit!, together with you your life will become dark, sinful and full of misfortune, can you imagine the comments that circulate by Paris if my beloved son Armand marry you?

Margarita with a gesture that a century later Mary Pickford would fashion, clenched hands as preparing for prayer and as a rediscovered the silent film shadow man pleaded:

-I love your child more than master life, I have changed and I am no longer a woman frivolous and spirited I went yesterday, I have been very ill, and it was the love of his son Armand, which has returned color to my cheeks, ask me whatever you want, ask me for the Sun or the Moon, asking me to throw to hell and I will obey him , snifs, snifs, but do not ask me that you shred the heart of her son returning to the sewers of France.

Mr Duval watched the great love that emanated from the woman's heart, but as I watched it could not help but find this courtesan that once revolutionized Paris, and knew that great love was the main trump card in order to save his son from this dark fate awaiting him next to a prostitute.

-Is the love for my child is noble, sincere and truthful, and is by the love by which you must leave him forever and rid you of those heavy chains that will offer the future together with you, would my son deserves be the victim of their sinful past? Break the heart and thereby will be releasing not only a foreign cargo, you contribute to the salvation of their own souls will also be, and with this gesture of love peace will return to my tormented soul who will pray for you until the end of his days.

The man without waiting reply turned around and left the room, Margarita noticed that his legs were shaking and until he could move towards a Chair, as well as a Chinese puppet that cut their threads, as a heavy granite slab collapsed on the floor, and just like a piece of lead is sinking in the waters of a river the shattered heart of Margarita sank in a whirlwind of screams, pain and blinding darkness.

God hate me!

Or simply,

I don't want to.

Satan loves me!

Or possibly...

I wanted to just me.

White camellias,

Tinged with blood,

In long nights,

Of gall and vinegar,

God me ignored!

It confuses my mind,

And it hurts me.

God hate me!

Or simply...

I don't want to.

-------------------

-------------------
¡Dios me odia!
O simplemente,
No me quiere.

¡Satanás me ama!
O posiblemente…
Tan solo me deseé.

Camelias blancas,
Teñidas de sangre,
En noches largas,
De hiel y vinagre,

¡Dios me ignora!
Confunde mi mente,
Y me hiere.

¡Dios me odia!
O simplemente..
No me quiere.

It Will Continue To...

The Dumas are two indispensable writers in the library of anyone, father addressed successfully all literary genres, from horror, to the adventures, the son specialized in love, it is believed that The Lady of the Camellias belongs to a real episode in the life of the author.

A greeting.
