MUST REMAIN POSITIVE

Scary stories from scientists today I hear 
The virus won't leave soon and maybe next year
Statistics indicate that the spike is on a upward trend
Doesn't look good I have to say my dear friend 

I will do my bit and wear a mask outside 
When on the bus also should I need a ride
Must keep a safe distance from people like you
Follow the guidelines is the only thing to do

As autumn approaches I wonder to myself 
I am so far lucky knowing I have the best of health
Just have to hope a cure is quickly found 
Then we will be safe to walk the common ground
