My 125 Children

My 125 Children

(circa 2006)

“Yo Mister,  how many
children do you have?”

“I have 125 children.
All my students are
my children.”

“No, no,  how many
kids do you have
at home?”

“Oh,  I don’t have
any.”

“Why don’t you have
any children?”

“Well,  as a teacher,
I get to observe
Children’s actions daily
in the classroom,
so I chose
to not
have
any children.
In
fact,
I had a
vasectomy

“Yo Mister,  that’s messed
up.  That’s wrong to
 say.”

Another student chimes out,

“No,  Mr. ‘G’ is right,
 look at the way students
act in our school.”
