The reason I live my life,

My tenderness unfurls,

And my motherhood revives,

Seeing you fills me with amazement,

To have you by my side,

My infant,

My partner in crime,

My sometimes delinquent,

And my love for all time,

My baby it's true,

You grow and you fall,

Growing so tall,

Then you say good-bye,

And my demeanor starts to fall,

I shut my eyes and finally smile,

You're only five years old,
