Christmas Is Near

Christmas is almost here
The time is almost near
I can hear the sleigh bells ringing of Santa's sleigh
I'll be at home wishing on that day
That world can get better and not so sad
Why on this holiday am I so mad?
I feel like a depriving Grinch who stole gifts
As my family's souls and spirit lifts
I lay my head down staring at the presents wondering if it's what I really need
Wishing begging beginning to plead 
To take them back and give them to those who need them more
All these feelings just coming ashore...
