A best friend isn’t just your friend,

But a part of you that never leaves.

A best friend takes risks with you,

And is there for you when you need.

You are my best friend

You and I share secrets and jokes together,

I’m your shoulder to cry on when in doubt.

I’m someone you can depend on (ALWAYS),

And I won’t ever judge you for anything.

Everyone needs at least one best friend,

Even people who try to show no pain.

Because no one can always hold it in,

Even on a rainy day.

You’re not just any type of friend,

You’re like a guardian angel from above.

You always look after me,

Even when the rest give up and run.

We act like each other’s mother,

Who shows guidance along the way.

I’ll pick you up and I know you’ve got me too.

When you fall I will too,

We’ll defeat the obstacles together.

So, don’t ever ever be afraid to talk to me,
