My Birdhouse Webcam

My Birdhouse Webcam

(Original photo wouldn’t go onto Cosmofunnel)

Now this weird and wonderful picture that illustrates this poem
Is a shot from my bird box on my house wall at home
Well I am currently sat inside my living room
Listening to my webcam from that pile of plume
I hear chirping and cheeping when tiny nestlings are not sleeping
As soon as they are awake their calls never has a break

Now don’t get me wrong I adore Mother Nature
and tho this bird is well hidden
I bet it is the cutest of a creature
Well I reckon there’s a few tiny mouths to feed
By the constant calling and demand of greed
The nest is inside a wooden box with a small hole as a door
and as you can see the coziness goes right to the floor

Yet my spouse can’t believe coz it’s ages untill the Spring
that there is a bird in the box with babies under her wing
But my live webcam does not lie
I have watched Mother going in and out as I secretly spy
Well at least they have shelter from the storm outside
My birdbox is an excellent haven for bluetits to hide
