My Children, my Legacy

My Children, my Legacy

Intangible love incessant
Without pause
Grows immensely
Indomitable force

From the depths of my being,
Beyond the sky
My love for my children
Will never die

My role is to protect you
By whatever means
To applaud you in faith
A shoulder to lean

To wipe away your tears
To hold you up high
You're my reason for breathing
The twinkle in my eye

I couldn't be prouder
My heart always aches
How much you're growing
Time I forsake

Be all you can
You're dreams are never too great
I'll support you through all
As you make your own fate.
