My creature of surprise đź’•

In amidst yon purple heather trying to hide away from me

Ducking down her little head but coz of her colour I can see..

Shining in the morning sun as golden as can be

Cowering and ready to run 
She yearns to be free..
                                 ~
So beautifully coated with her light orange fleece

I will quietly walk away and give her some peace..

Then all of a sudden and from out of the blue

This lovely majestic Roe Deer leaps up on all fours betwixt the early morning dew..

And before I can even blink my eyes, within this crack of dawn

My clandestine creature of surprise bounds away off into the blowing bracken to find her little fawn...
