My darling seafarer slave 💙

My darling seafarer slave 💙

As the tide doth turn mine eyes will wait for thee

O’er yonder distant horizon I shall scan yon salty scree

Ye may return on thy crest of a wave

From thy fishing foraging my darling seafarer slave

Worry me not for I put my trust in ye

Thy home of thine heartlands is yon beautiful briney sea

Whence ye return from wherest thy hast been

Please my dearest tell thee thy sights ye hath seen

Was ye singing to pretty Mermaids and handsome Merman

And doth ye dive down to thy depths wherest ye can

I love thy tales from thy angst troubles

Whilst pilfering pirates burst blue bubbles

Speed bonny lad back to mine arms

Safely from thy solace e’re Mother Magna’s charms

Bring me a bucket full of scaley, fresh fish

And I shall salt thy skin for our tasty dish...
