My dear departed Mother 💕

I stood by a rolling river and I threw a little stone thinking I was miles away from everybody, all on my own
But out of the blue I saw a reflection in the river and my blood ran cold making me all a’quiver
Of course my immediate reaction was to turn around, and yet apart from the cows in the meadow, not another creature was found
Though I was slightly scared I looked into the water once more, and Oh my goodness I almost fell on the grassy floor
Coz there was my dear departed Mother looking back at me, she had a smile on her face so obvious to see
But this was a phenomenon coz my Mother was not there, she wasn’t even in this life as I felt that chilly air
And I listened as the rivulet rippled rolling along, sounding melodious singing an ambient song
I couldn’t help myself when i whispered my Mother’s name, but then in but the blink of an eye, my vision vanished, Oh what a shame...
