My Dear Friend

                       MY DEAR FRIEND

Oh my darling, I miss you so much,
you could have kept in touch,
As I remember right, you were always
by my side.

What happened to those eyes,
dramatised and surprised, you  look 
so cold and fragile inside.

I see you well my friend, you replied
so many years have passed by,
I longed to hold you tight, as I missed
you most of the time.

I am here now to stay, I hope you allow 
me back in your life,
as good friends are hard to come by,
forgive me, my friend, for missing out all 
this time.
