My Devil Wrapped In Lace

My Devil Wrapped In Lace

My wings may be scarred, but they have the strength to carry us both.

I need not direction, or a place to call my own, for your heart is my compass, and your love, forever guiding.

My wings have the strength to carry us both, but if I let go, know that it's only because I trust you have the strength to fly on your own.

So spread your wings.

 I know it hurts.

The pain you endure, I feel it too.

Where you are is where I belong, so I will follow you.

Now do you see the strength I speak of?

It's written upon your face.

They see scars while I see beauty.

Inside a broken angel; hides my devil wrapped in lace.
