My Dream

My dream

As you are aware
I am writing poetry
It is a very rewarding thing
I’ve also made alot of others
Well they are songs
That I do sing

The trouble is when I sing them
I have to imagine another voice
Coz mine has passed its sell by date
But I haven’t got a choice

I believe my lyrics & my tunes
Are really quite okay
& The fact that I have made them up
Well I am pleased I have to say

So if you know of an artist
Please send them my way
I will let them hear my songs
They can take them away

To hear someone singing one
Would be my dream
Again I’m gonna use the phrase
I’ll be “ The cat thats got its cream “ ?❤️
