My Dreams

My Dreams
 
As sad and lonely as it may seem
I have been saved only by my dreams
 
These dreams help take me away
But it’s in your heart I want to stay
 
Sleep sometimes seems not to come at all
But before I know it fast asleep I fall
 
My dreams come from my heart
Hope we are never torn apart
 
My dreams get me through the night
Till I awake in the dawn’s early light
 
 Only my dreams are what keep me alive
Without them I don’t know how I’d survive
 
I dream of a better life for you and me
 For my dreams give me wings and set me free
 
Dreams of castles in high in the sky
 A place where we have the wings to fly
 
I have dreams of glorious days of old
And treasures chests full of precious gold
 
Some dreams are of a life of love
With angels flying from up above
 
When I dream I escape to another land
When were children building castles of sand
 
Dreams of a new hope for tomorrow
 Please kiss away all my tears of sorrow
 
My dreams always keep me hanging on
Knowing the golden moments are not all gone
 
These dreams have angel’s wings of their own
But that they always carry me back home
