My Dying Wish

Dear Mama.

I wish it didn’t have to be this way.

I’m alive but you’re gone,

My life clock is ticking by,

Slower by each rising sun.

Its seems this battle between life and death,

Will never be won.

The same disease passed from mother to child,

A weak immune system stating what journey

Lies ahead of me as such a young child.

Broken dreams and one dying wish.

To be with my mother,

Whom I so dearly miss.
