Poem -

Our Relationship

His and hers,

No doubt about it.

His simple and crisp white hand towel,

Hers - a vibrant convoluted mess of colour.

His blue toothbrush.

Her pink toothbrush.

His olive tanned skin.

Her skin - pale as moonlight.

Beautiful yet complicated dynamics

Of a relationship between the opposite sex.

So full of love and obsession,

Yet loaded with baggage.

His work problems.

Her friend problems.

His side of the bed,

Or his turn to do the dishes.

The stress of the day will fall away,

As they lay down side by side in each other's arms,

Ready to fall into a slumber of love,

Under the moonlit night sky that,

Sparkles with a little sprinkle of the shining stars.
