My Fairyland flight

I lay down my weary head whilst I gave a sleepy yawn.. then all of a sudden and from out of the blue I saw a white wonderful unicorn..he was absolutely beautiful and Oh so very grand, infact I can surely say he was the most magnificent in the land

Well he was standing on all fours right infront of me as he bowed his hairy head down as gracious as could be.. then I heard “I promise if you climb on my back that you will be alright, I shall be your wonderful wings to take you on a fairyland flight” Of course I got a shock his words were such a huge surprise but then when I clambered onto his broad back I could hardly believe my eyes

‘Whoosh’ we were off like an Albatross in the air and amazingly enough I felt as safe as houses there.. “Are you okay my little one? as he reassured me, “ Yes my lovely friend I am as excited as can be” Soaring thru the bright blue sky just like an aeroplane I saw some cotton wool clouds below us, I wondered if they were rain.. then ‘Whish’ we descended like an arrow from a bow, my Unicorn had reached our destination, we were landing just below

I’ve never seen so many magical things in my entire days as I stood along side my Unicorn in an utter dumbstruck amaze.. fairies, pixies, elves and lots of other Unicorns all looking at us with happy faces..My goodness gracious me this was the loveliest of places!! I played with them all as we danced and pranced around to the most magnificent, melodious magical sound.. then I sat on little toadstools where we ate everything in sight, I’d never seen so many colourful foods but the whole lot was a delight

What fun I had in Fairyland I so enjoyed the company as I heard my Mammy shouting “Jill breakfast is on the table with a nice cup of tea” I opened my eyes I was lying on my comfy bed.. surely it could not be possible that this was all just inside my head ? Ah well I went down the stairs and sat at the kitchen table, I looked at my plate with bacon, eggs and sausages and said “ I am sorry but I am not able” At the very sight of it I felt so very rude, my stomache was feeling bloated like it had already eaten food!! My Mammy took one look at me and said “ Have you ate in another place ? I can’t imagine where you have been but you have food remnants all over your face”!!
