My Family Tree
Lifelines

14/10/1021
My family tree
So many branches,
Usually,
That spring and grow,
From many a family tree.
My lifes line should’ve ended way back when though.
It Should’ve ended with me.
In 2000,
The millennium,
When my cancer entered my life,
I was only 15.
If I knew then,
What the knot in my trees,
Tall trunk held,
For infinite lifetimes,
I wouldn’t change a thing I’ve learnt and seen.
It’s strange.
Through all the horrific nightmares that have befallen,
 In this life of mine.
I know I still wouldn’t change it,
As I’ve 3 new miraculous seedlings,
Now to add,
To my,
Once waining,
Family tree line.
Even with all the atrocities I’ve been dragged through.
I’m happy.
I’m content.
I’m finally,
All but my health,
In life fine.
Well more than fine.
As now I have the love of my life and the best conjoined family ever,
Wishing they were on my trees timeline.
My three boys though,
Have made it through,
so the Bevans name is carried on.
Not ending with me,
From my greatest ever dad,
Their super Grandad,
Michael John!
Somehow,
Between us both,
Even though riddled with cancer,
We both have shone.
We both have rejuvenated our lifes tree.
More in the making,
Memories throughout our History,
Our tree,
Set more in stone.
Not in wood,
As wood will never last as long.
And I want my family tree to be set in foundations,
Not of wood,
But stone strong.
We’ve 3 more chances now,
To carry the Bevans name,
Proudly on.
We are waiting for my boys to be older.
Then they can finally add to the throng.
Even one out of three,
Wouldn’t do our family seedlings,
Any wrong!
