My Favourite burger

Heaven between two soft white dough hands
A bed of lettuce
Two burgers rest blissfully on
Cheese and bacon make the duvet
A fried egg makes a lovely night cap .

Lifting the top bap
Ketchup on the egg
Piercing the yoke , delicious lava
The top burger is coated
Now it is turned to smear its lower brother .

A knife and fork please
Disected with precision
Every bite is delicious
Washed down with ice cold lager
You can keep your caviar
- I'd much rather a well done double cheeseburger  !!
