My favourite month

My favourite month

May comes
Signals Winter's goodbye
Warmth comes back to the world
Flowers turn their faces to the sky .

More light in our days
Heavy clothes cast away
Thoughts turn towards Summer and holidays
As we can look forward and let optimism reign .

And fields turn slowly into different colours
The sun renews life in tired building's interiors
Gardens are tended , Lawns are mown
Beaches become filled

- Its just a shame a lot don't let dogs on them ....

Good evening FOTS and to be fair we have had a very rainy May this year (I think it's swapped places with April to be honest !) But usually May is a warm month with a fair degree of sunshine , Hoping a dear friend and talented poet is keeping well , Chris :)
