My Fishing Man

My Fishing Man

Thinking of boating and fishing
Not waiting and wishing
We work so hard all week long
Waiting for a day that deserves song

Monday through Friday
Waiting for our day
Spending all my time without you
I have so much work to do

Thought I had so much to do
But now that you are home that is all through
We are heading to the coast
Going to make it the most

I have nothing else to do
But sit here and fish with you
From dawn until days end
That is our routine on the weekend

From sun up
To sun down
If I had it my way
We'd camp all year round

So cold without a fire
Going no where without desire
I need my baby by my side
Without him my soul is not alive

Don't think about Monday
Today is a fun day
Alone all week my mind does play
Waiting for our Sunday
