MY FORETASTE

THE LIVING GOD

MY FORETASTE

You O Lord
Are the crown of my happiness
My joy of life
The keeper of my soul

My enemies laugh at me
Because I fall on my face
In the temple of the lord
While they condemn themselves
With riotous living

The pit opens its mouth
And swallows the wicked whole
No one weeps or morn their death
They vanish from the sunshine
In the twinkling of an eye

Who or what, can be compared
To you O lord
You are the eternal God
Like the sand of the sea
The stars of the sky
Your wisdom cannot be measured

You canvas your love
Upon those that humble themselves
Before your Majesty
You feed your people with honey
And give them rest in the midst of the storm

I am glad that you remembered me
In my times of trouble
I am thankful that you casts my sins
Into the sea
And with your love and kindness
You've rescued me.
