My Forever Present

My Forever Present

My forever Present Child
Forever consuming time
There for every moment
Never just for a while

Expect her arrival as you sit
Unable to watch action flick
Some piece of paper or stone in hand
A question about some forgien land

Most days spent cleaning her room
Broken toys and burst balloons
Old clothes stuck under her bed
A sticky substance, yellowish red

Rolled eyes and shoulder srugs
When I ask her about my broken mug
New uniform tattered and torn
A stain, for every day worn

Christmas movies in July
Confused look when I ask her why
Crumbs all over the sitting room floor
A self portrait on the kitchen door

My forever Present Child
Forever consuming time
There for every moment
Thank God, She's mine.

Your dead right sparrowsong, if anyone was to to hurt her I would do time in the harshest of prisons

I hate that we live in a world where evil lurks.
