My Great Escape

I see my imagination in my mind,

everyone in this world is so kind.

I hear the pop of the popcorn I’m making,

while listening to my music.

I now smell the popcorn I had just made,

I feel mixed emotions, vibrations and beats in my ears,

from my headphones.

I’m in my own world to escape this cruel place,

where people want you to be perfect,

like those girls in the magazines.

This is my great escape.
