My great outdoors

My great outdoors is beckoning me to walk like I used to wild and free and there’s one thing I am sure of, it is a certainty, I shall stroll my haunts of memory.. but the blight of Winter is fierce and strong boisterously blowing yon eerie song..cooling my cares and chilling my bones, a solace season of suffering without dulcet tones..my lovely land of lucious fresh green grass way beyond the horizon on the Penine pass.. those hills and mountains where I belong reminiscing tall tales from old bygone..bloodshed battles between a rival clan, big, burly Scotsman and Englishman
I shall roam the purple heather where the Skylark dwells sniffing in the aromas with the scented smells..adoring the panoramic scenic views with saturated silhouettes of shaded hues..my little piece of pleasure plodding past the hills amidst the ever changing seasons betwixt the sensational thrills..to feel the unpolluted air cleansing my soul, I shall return to my wandering, yes I will achieve my goal..so rollon the sights and the splenderous Spring with the daffodils a’blooming and the swallows on wing..strolling along England’s green and perfect pleasant land from the sheer heart and soul of Mother nature’s command

Oh, this is beautiful, elegant, descriptive, well-worded and awesome!
Another fantastically written poem, which reads like an elegy/or lyric.Â
Who is your favorite poet(s)?Â
What styles of poetry have you learned? Or, wish to learn?Â
Thanks Jill, for making me forget about America and its wars and instead, to take a walk with you in your beautiful outdoor escape, your garden. Where a variety of birds, butterflies and other life forms help you to create such soft and effective narratives. I could smell the lavender, I could taste the new asparagus shoots, I could envision a wheel barrel full of pulled weeds, I could think about all the work a garden takes and how long it takes to catch a double rainbow after a hard rain.
The garden is such an inspiring place. Â
