My Guardian Angel
 
 
For now and forever I shall be in love with thee
Because you broke these chains and let me walk free
 
You lifted me from the cross nailed to my back
Your precious heart made up for the love I lacked
 
My endless tears once flowed like a river
Until the day my soul you did deliver
 
I swear you must be an angel in disguise
You make up for all the mistruths and lies
 
You brought all of my darkness into the light
Bring your angelic love into every day and night
 
You brought forth my dreams for me to see
You opened my heart so I could believe
 
I am remain forever grateful for you
You showed me strength I never knew
 
You touched my heart and touched my soul
And didn’t let the passing years take their toll
 
My demons into the shadows you cast
I am now free of all the darkness at last
 
Allowed me to walk in your sacred holy light
Will you be there in the darkness of my night?
 
Took away all of my rain and made the sun shine
