Poem -

My heart convolved with his

There's a certain avoidance that keeps my longing still, surrendered to your absence, I love thee
I always will
It's not the flowers I remember, but the sorrow that they bought
Learning you were heavens now, another angel caught

Maybe he had wings to fly, and surrendered to the sky above,
Yet kept his heart on holy ground, and promised me it's love

For nothing has divided us, my heart convolved with his very own

And so the stars they light the night, and sparkle where his wings have flown,

So never mind the nights sweet silence, I met him in a dream to hold

And every embrace that keeps this love, burns embers bright, not cold

There will come a time when I shall see
The blue eyes that I call home,
And like his wings there wondering, may follow where his heart does roam.
