MY JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND DEATHS (PART I)

With sweat in my eyes and an unquenchable thirst, I continue on this journey of mine

my muscles ache, and my body shakes, yet the end result stays on my mind

the finish line is no where in sight, yet I remain focused on the task at hand

I continue to push my body to dangerous limits, so much of myself I demand

I let nothing and no one prevent my quest, from becoming a successful venture

through jungles and deserts or ocean's deep, completion is always my venue

no way no how, will I lose my focus, no way will I give up now...

I'll drive and I'll push, I'll fight day in and out, until they bury me in the ground

my feet how they blister, my veins collapse, still I push and keep going strong

my clothes soaking wet, I'm starting to see blurs, yet I still continue to go on

the cramping in my legs, this pain is intense, yet my desires to complete this task are greater

my load that I carry gets heavier with each step, yet one day I'll confess that I've made it

just when it seems like, my mind over matter is about to give me a reality check

a gentle breeze blows down upon me, suddenly I'm inhaling easier breaths

my posture corrects itself to the point I'm standing up tall and strong

my load becomes manageable no longer unberable, it's as if I'm carrying nothing at all

my muscles gain strength of a thousand Spartans, my focus has been renewed

My Queen, I've finally reached the depths of Hell, I am on my way in to rescue you....
