My Life

My Life

I sit alone in my house all day,
This is just my normal way,
No body ever knocks on my door,
I dont feel any warm hugs no more.

I dont go out to see a show,
There's no one that actually wants to go,
And that's if I decide on this,
There are some things that I really miss.

Dinner for one and watch TV,
Go to sleep late when I cannot see,
I wake up to an empty place,
Disappointment regularly on my face.

Different when my daughters here,
Games and fun, a laugh with tears,
Movies, telly and YouTube shows,
We really let the good times flow.

My choice of life is mine alone,
I am always looking at my phone,
Is something on that I want to see,
My funds always seem to restrict me.

Caught in a cycle is getting me down,
I want to release my inner clown,
It's hard to keep smiling when you are sad,
Lonely depressed and frustrating mad.
