Poem -

My life is short

My life is short

My life is futile, empty and

truly meaningless without God.

My life is short,  like a passing shadow,

like a vapor and  like a breeze that can be

felt and gone.

I am not certain tomorrow is mine for

today might be my last  to breathe the

fresh air and be on planet earth.

In my life every minute is precious, redeeming

the time is important to avoid procrastination,

for time waits for no man.

My wasted time can never be regained,  my  past

can never be relived and my future is in

the hands of the beholder to cut my days or

add to my days on earth.

Everyday I need to prepare and be ready to

meet my maker because my life can end in a

second.
