My little boomerang 🤣

One sunny afternoon when I was feeling very hot

I threw that blinkin’ boomerang and I gave it everything I’d got

Well that polypropylene plaything went shooting through the air

 ..And it travelled quite a distance but It never lost my glare

Then all of a sudden and from out of the blue

My magic boomerang seemed to flick into a corkscrew

Of course it did exactly what it was meant to do

Coz when you throw a boomerang properly it should come back to you

So I stood in awe and absolute amazement 

Yet what I should have really done, was turned around in self-effacement

“Crash” “Bang” “ Wallop” as it smashed thru a pane 
of glass

 ..On my Dad’s new greenhouse as he was busy cutting grass

“Oh no thought I” what the hell have I done ? 

Then as the neighbour’s Mother was standing with her son

My stupid, silly boomerang had not stopped yet 

..And you’ll never guess what the dam thing did next I bet ?

It cracked right into Mrs Brown from nextdoor’s house

..And it wasn’t over yet coz then it smashed into her spouse

Well this time my little boomerang was thrown onto the stoney ground

 ..With  a “That’l teach you lass” after he turned around

So I once had a little boomerang that I played with everyday
