Do  you catch yon falling stars and chase those beautiful butterflies?

In amongst that land of nod, do you hear me singing lullabies?

In those shadows of the night, after that daylights demise

I can bet that happiness awaits you , as you cuddle up in your comfy bed

Lost inside your reveries,  never knowing  what wonders lie ahead

Frolicking with the Fairies, where the fragile flowers are tread

I listen to you talking in your sleep, though I do not know a single word  that’s said

Oh little one, how I love to watch you sleep

As I gently tuck in you time and time again, after you kick your covers in a heap 

And I cannot help but wondering, what secrets do you keep?
