my living will not be in vain

i live life for others--and not for my own pain
i try to ease what suffers--so my living is not in vain

to help a kin in need--to stop a heart in bleed
this is but my diadem and this is but all I need.

for when I know I have helped --this gives point to my breath
and when my breath is taken --so hidden within my death
when I meet the maker--  and my soul to good is heft
I wish but nothing more--than good of me be left.
