To My Love

I know that I’m broken and bruised,

But now that’s fading away because I’m here with you,

The scars within me healing with every touch,

A smile arriving on my face during every caring embrace,

It’s the little things you do that make me love you,

I can’t express the way you make me feel but if I had to,

The one word would be invincible,

You make me feel like I can face the world again,

I’m not afraid to fall anymore,

Because I know if I do I’ll end up in your arms once more,

 I now have the courage to speak,

And the strength to go on when I am weak,

If I thank you a million times it wouldn’t be enough,

Because you saved me and gave me hope,

When you could have left me in the dirt,

You’re always by my side,

Whether it is physically or in my dreams,

I know I’ll always have you,

I have faith in us,

I am reassured every time our lips brush,

I wish I could be with you all the time,

But even though we aren’t,

You’re still going through my mind all day,

I think of you nonstop,

Every time I see you my heart stops,

I guess to sum this up,

I’ll always love you no matter what.
