My Love For You Remains Forever
Have you ever lost
Something so dear
That it felt as if partĀ
Of you was missing?
A loss so deep
You pleaded for death?
Not once, not twice,
But nearly every minute of every day!
āTime heals all woundsā
Except this. Nothingā
Ever could.
Just to have
One more moment with you.Ā
If only to say goodbye.
But NO!
You were rippedĀ
Away from me.Ā
Made to think,
The worst of me.
Now, nothingĀ
But a bad memory
A bitter distaste
Upon thy tongue.Ā
