My lovely lady coffee

She wakes me up early, and gets me alert,
She boosts my energy, and gets me ready for work.

With her warm sensation, she calms me inside,
If she was human, I'd marry this bride.

When I drink of her she seduces me with her cream,
I'm at peace after a sip, like I'm on the bank of a stream.

My lovely lady coffee, more sips and I'm ready,
She encourages me to keep moving, keeping my progress steady.

She's creamy, she's sweet, and she's warming too,
Without my morning coffee I don't know what I'd do.

She rebukes my moping, and makes me grin,
I say "Ahhhh" after having a cup, coffee is no sin.

Just like hot chocolate, she reminds me,
But hot chocolate doesn't give me the drive I need.
