My magic mirror

My magic mirror

Magic mirror on my wall take me back to when I was small, fresh of fresh and wrinkle free.. those days when nothing bothered me..yet that was fifty years ago when I was only ten or so, going to school everyday apart from weekends with fun and play

Mirror you have watched me change from a cheerful child, how very strange..every day I looked into you doing all the things that one does do.. like brushing my teeth and combing my hair, and tho I wasn’t that aware.. there was you watching me change, as my face did age and rearrange.. with little creases here and there, that aging colour of my hair

Tho you never said a word when my moans and groans would be heard, as I often tried my very best to hide the aging what a pest.. applying makeup to my face to mask the years and give it grace.. yes my mirror on the wall I realise you have seen it all..yet those wrinkles that I tried to hide when I looked in my reflection, you never lied...so magic mirror no matter what I do, there is no way of fooling you
