Zooming super sonic sideways shifting thru sensational space
Zig zagging in and out of the solar system at a silly skedaddled pace
Sparkled and shimmered by each and every shining star coming face to face
Wow I have never, ever witnessed anything so awesome in my lifetime, this is an astonishing place..
But I am buzzing back and forwards bamboozled betwixt bonkers berserk
Oh my Goodness me as I pray to God that these bleeping buttoned breaks do work
As I am pulling on the lightup levers within jabs of a jerk
But then again only I would ever agree to complete this challenge of a lifetime, I am such a stupid berk...
Huh if I ever make it back to where the earth is green
Well I will shout out to the whole wide world all these wonderful things that I have seen
That’s if my spaceship doesn’t smashup into smouldering smithereens...
Why the hell would I put my trust in one of these new age technology mean machines...

Wow Jill you made me think of the SpaceX project that’s been smashing up its landings. But now the Falcon 9 rocket has had three successful launches and landings. I don’t know if you follow Elon Musk, but he really should have a copy of your fab poem :) x

Yes it is more fun to watch it go up live I watched one a month ago go up early in the morning it was beautiful watched it all the way until it disappeared
It’s fab to watch isn’t it :) Do you ever watch the NASA Channel? I love watching the launches and when the astronauts return. They always need carrying as they can’t walk. Love space stuff :)
Yes I I do have the NASA channel on on satellite I do have NASA on Facebook so I can follow them there
