MY MOTHER

You never had much money,Yet you made sure we never went without

You never had a social life it was us you cared about

You never went on holiday's,Dads drinking left the kitty bare

You never did give up through toughest times of heartache and despair.

You were the one who thought us doctor,nurse and so much more

You stood by us through thick and thin, yet it never became a mondane chore

You seen us past the school years,head now turning grey!!!

You always seen us through,put the sunshine on a rainyday.

"YOU" the word I have chosen to write in my poem today

You are my MOTHER whom I  truly love

till my dying day.
